Our People

CCI employees and consultants are the key to our success. They bring a depth of experience and expertise to each project, ensuring a high quality result that meets the needs of our clients and their patients. We supplement our full-time staff with expert consultants from around the country which enables us to bring the appropriate mix of skills to the table for whatever type of engagement we are involved in. Below are the profiles of our key staff, but many others contribute to our success.

Leadership Team

Jeb Brown, Ph.D.
President and Founder

Jeb Brown is a psychologist with over 35 years experience in management of mental health services and the use of outcome data to optimize patient benefit and return on investment to the employer and payer. Jeb founded the Center for Clinical Informatics in 1998.  


Joanne Cameron, Ph.D.
Director of Provider Relations and HR

Joanne is a partner in the Center for Clinical Informatics. Joanne currently divides her time between the Center and her private practice. Joanne works closely with providers to help implement outcomes informed care programs. She also provides Human Resources services within the Center.


Tak Minami, Ph.D.
Director of Research and Development

Tak is a licensed psychologist and Chair of the Department of Counseling and School Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He is involved in multiple CCI projects and leads the psychometric research and development of advanced statistical methods.  



Steven Vannoy, Ph.D
Principal Consultant

Steven is a licensed psychologist and Associate Professor of Counseling and School Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston where he conducts clinical supervision for doctoral level trainees and teaches research methods and statistics. He is an experienced mental health service researcher with particular expertise in developing algorithms to support clinical decision making. Steven works with CCI clients in all phases of engagements from assessing business and analytic needs to implementing technical solutions.

Justin Turner
Data Center Operations Manager

Justin has been a part of the ACORN staff since 2010. He is currently acting as a manager and coordinator at the data center. In addition to his managerial tasks, Justin is responsible for coordinating customer service, database management, employee training, payroll and a number of other items around the office.  


Cindy Hernandez, M.A.
Psychotherapist; Clinical Consultant

Born and raised in Malaysia, Cindy is a licensed psychotherapist who practices and manages Aspire Psychological and Comprehensive Psychological Services in Salt Lake City, Utah . She received her education from University of South Australia and University of Central Oklahoma, and she has conducted several research projects that studied Asian culture in the field of Psychology. Cindy currently provides professional consultation, research, and developing provider relations at the Center of Clinical Informatics.
